about

I had just gotten my new and amazing Martin guitar fresh from the factory in Nazareth, PA. I had been brooding over Yeats' poem 'The Second Coming' with it's famous "Slouching towards Bethlehem" phrase. Playing while feeling this juxtaposition of elements came out as the slouchy but bouncy - galumphing - rhythm of this tune. In happy opposition to the creepy slouch to destruction, this instrument came to me galumphing from Nazareth. Yes that's right it galumphed.
